In today's episode, I spoke with Dr. Frank Rinkevich, a research scientist at the USDA honey bee research laboratory in Baton Rouge. We covered a range of subjects, updating on his research project on varroa mites' amitraz resistance, we also discussed ways to break the vicious cycle of pesticide use against varroa mites through out smart breeding programs.
